One of the chief roadblocks to achieving financial success is buying things you simply do not need just to keep up with the neighbors. I have watched those HGTV shows where people buy perfectly good homes and then spend a fortune gutting them if they don't have the ever-popular granite counter tops, hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances etc. You could be taking all that money and investing it in your future or starting a business. Napoleon Hill talked about this very thing in his success principles course that was written in the 1920's and it is more valid than ever! You must invest in yourself first otherwise you will never be wealthy no matter how much money you make. There will always be some MUST HAVE thing to sidetrack you from true wealth!
PS-Who the hell uses two sinks at the same time!
